This under the radar industry has created a deep sense of curiosity amongst most ordinary city folks. Even before the pre-Corona Chinese Virus era this industry was already rockin’ by itself and now it has created a high level of interest as an alternative recreational way during and after the Corona Chinese Virus phases out. 

Many campground owners had no real sense of how this industry could be affected in March of 2020, most of them braced for impact and did not know what to expect but as time and circumstances went by it all slowly turned out to be a kind of blessing in disguise. All projections and drawing boards are showing very promising results as interest levels remain going out the roof. 

According to reports from Kampgrounds of America known as KOA there were more than 4 million more households camping out during the Chinese Corona Virus year. This in turn translated into very happy RV Campground owners and very satisfied families across the country. This increase of visits reflects not only the usual crowd but all of the newbies who recently discovered the Art of Camping. At some point there were reports from RV Campground owners that because of the unexpected high demand for sites the typical crowd was left out without a place to camp creating unhappy normal goers as they were left out. 

Usually for this industry the high season is considered to start right around when the summer kicks in and carries away until about when the weather allows. Depending on the location and region some RV Campgrounds may stay open all year round or if the cold is too severe normally owners tend to shut down the park. Reports came back showing that not only current occupancy is at its highest but reservations are coming in and showing 100% occupancy for the following year (around 12 months away).

Notwithstanding it opened opportunities as the rising demands for camping has developed. Local builders and RV Campground owners have noticed the expansion opportunity and therefore have started either buying land and turning into new parks or simply sharpening the pencil and getting creative on how to add additional sites to the existing campground. This blessing in disguise has certainly placed the RV Camping industry into a different investment category and taken it to a much broader class.

As this camping industry grows it’s opening ways for families to create memories and enjoy the outdoor space. The beauty of this industry is that it offers camping options for most personality types. The typical site for a recreational vehicle and the primitive tenting have been the most favored choice for over the years but as time progresses the deluxe cabins have emerged offering and attracting a different kind of camper, one that wants to have the accommodation option blended in with the outdoorsy experience.
